Dr Anita Gupta is
working as Administrative, Clinical & Training in charge of Urban
& Rural Health Centre, of department of community medicine, UCMS
since 1989. She has been Practicing as Community Obstetrician,
Gynaecologist & Lactation consultant for last 31yrs & 18 yrs. respectively. She has been
working for Social, Physical, Mental & Economic development of
Mother & Child specifically for underprivileged population
& urban slums/Village.
She has been facilitated as Fellow of Indian
Collage of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (FICOG) and registered as Faculty by ICOG. She
started a drive to promote maternal health by Organising first
“Maternal Health Initiatives and Governance- Including Citizens'
Partnerships” conference in 2014.She received WHO,
TOT training on IYCF & HIV counselling course in 2004 & cleared Internationally Certified Lactation
Consultant exam in 2009 .She is
a master trainer & Course Director of IYCF & HIV &
Nutrition counselling course of WHO/UNICEF/IBFAN/GOI/GNCTD/NIPCCID/FNB
as well as of other National Health Programme i.e. MAA,RCH, IMNCI,
IDSP, HIV, RNTCP, SABLA of GOI etc.
She has imparted many National &
International trainings and has organised various conferences and holds
many publications under her name.
She
has worked as core team expert in developing Training &Technical
modules along with eLearning course for different levels of
health professionals by BPNI/IBAWA/UNICEF/ MOHFW & GOI, NIPCCID(MOWCD),
FOGSI, NNF/NACO/NGO’s on, Maternal Nutrition, Adolescent Nutrition, IYCF
(MIYCN), HIV & feeding, Counselling & Breastfeeding in Covid-19. She is involved in facilitating
the research work (done in the Community) of PG’s. She is also an
active member of many professional bodies.
She
Organises health camps
and FGD’s, health talk, Film
shows, Rallies, Street plays, quiz, Fashion shows etc
for general public awareness. Due to COVID-19 Pandemic (2020),
initiated a “Community Connect Programme” on Google Meet under Department
of Community Medicine so as to establish a network at grass root level to
provide IEC about health issues from time to time for the beneficiaries & the
Frontline Workers.
