Dr. Neelam
Vaney, Director Professor& Head, Department
of Physiology, has been serving in UCMS >B Hospital since 1988.
She did MBBS from RNT Medical College, Udaipur and MD Physiology from
SMS Medical College, Jaipur.
Dr Vaney
is Dean of colleges
of Ayurveda & Unani Sciences and Homeopathy Sciences under University
of Delhi. She held post of Former Head, Faculty of Medical Sciences,
Delhi University. She has been appointed as Observer
for SSR Medical college, University of Mauritius.
She is Editor of prestigious
Indian Journal of Physiology and
Pharmacology and is also on advisory board of Indian Journal of Medical Specialties.
Some of her important memberships
include PG Research cell UCMS, Ethical Committee UCMS, Governing body
& Ethical Committee of Amar Jyoti
Institute of Rehabilitation .She has done numerous assignments for
prestigious Educational bodies like MCI, NBE, ICMR, AIIMS, AMU, PGIMS and
RUHS etc.
Dr. Vaney’s field of specialization isNeurophysiology.She
has to her credit several publications in National and International
Journals. She has coauthored books titled “Physiology
for laboratory technicians” in Hindi & “Impact of mobile phone on
health”. She is contributor of the Chapter “Electrodiagnosis”
in TUREK’s Book of Orthopedics.
