Dr. Manish Gupta
MD, is a academician, teacher,
researcher and reviewer in the field of Physiology and member of
various academic associations. He did his graduation and post graduation from UCMS and now working as
Professor of Physiology at UCMS. His areas of interests are
cardiovascular physiology, respiratory physiology, yoga and meditation.
He has contributed in setting of state of the art autonomic functions
lab in the Department of Physiology where research work related to
thesis of post graduates students is going on. His research work in
chronic pelvic pain patients, thyroid patients, diabetic patients,
occupationally exposed population to environmental pollution and
traffic policemen has been published in national and international
journals. He is part of the institutional committees/subcommittees for
the implementation of competency based medical education as per NMC
norms and actively participated in framing Physiology certifiable
competencies and log book for MBBS students. He also serve as a
member of institutional IQAC
committee ,various administrative committees ,internal examiner,
external examiner for other institutions, nodal officer for
undergraduate and postgraduate NEET admissions .
