Dr.
Asha Yadav is a professor in the Department of Physiology, University
College of Medical Sciences. She is a graduate from Maulana
Azad Medical College and post graduate from University College of Medical
Sciences, two prestigious medical colleges of India. She has about 15
years of teaching experience of teaching MBBS, BPT, BSc Radiography, Bsc Nursing and MLT students. She has been guiding
many MD students in their thesis and published many articles in
national and international journals. Pulmonary function tests,
autonomic function tests, evoked potentials and yoga are her topics of
interest. She has been reviewing articles in many esteemed journals and
herself delivered certain lectures in CMEs. She is also involved in
many administrative activities besides academic work. She is the
chairperson of the committee for the “Prevention of Caste Based Discrimination
in Higher Educational Institutes”. In Delhi University, she is a member
of the courses committee and university court for Physiology. She is a
member of the curriculum sub-committee for the implementation of new
Competency based medical education curriculum in UCMS.She
was a nominated member of Delhi University for the selection committees
for the appointments of new faculty membersand
faculty promotions as a representative of
SC/ST/OBC/Women/Minority/Person with Disability. She has been a part of
various screening committees and a member of housing allotment
committee for the UCMS employees. As Faculty Store Incharge
in the department of Physiology, she is involved in procuring various
instruments and kits for UG/PG teaching.
