 Dr.Sumita Halder is
working as Professor in the Department of Pharmacology
, University College of Medical Sciences. She joined this
institute in 2007 as Senior Demonstrator and as a faculty on March
2009. She did her MBBS from R.G.Kar Medical College , Kolkata and MD (Pharmacology) from Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences, Ranchi. She
is a dedicated teacher and extensively involved in undergraduate and
post-graduate training . She completed her PhD
(Pharmacology) from Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Delhi in
2017. She is a meticulous researcher with keen interest in
neuropharmacology and indigenous drugs. She has numerous publications
(international and national) to her credit. Currently her research is
focused on neuropharmacology and geriatric pharmacology.
