 Dr
Rachna Gupta is currently working as Professor
and Head, Department of Pharmacology at University College of Medical Sciences. She is involved in
the teaching and training of undergraduate and postgraduate students. She
has significantly contributed to academic and research activities in
pharmacology. Her areas of interest include clinical pharmacology,
neuropharmacology and pharmacovigilance. Her research papers are published
in various reputed national & international journals. She has
written chapters in books. She is coordinator of Adverse Drug Reaction
Monitoring Centre and involved in pharmacovigilance induction and
training under Pharmacovigilance programme of India. She has also served
as a member of Institutional Ethics Committee for Human Research from
2015-2020. She has been assigned administrative and academic duties in
various committees of the institute including Research cell and Medical
Education Unit. She has been an expert member
in the panel of National
Formulary of India. She has performed her duties
as a Member of Executive Council, HOD of Pharmacology and Dean, Faculty
of Medical Sciences, University of Delhi from November 2017 - July 2018.
