 Dr.
Shiba Ansari has passed MBBS from Rajasthan
University of Health Sciences in 2011. She has passed MD in
Biochemistry from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi in
2015. She has acquired extensive
training in biochemistry, molecular biology, immunology, cancer biology
and clinical chemistry.
She
has been awarded gold medal, Dr. Aanandi Prasad Mathur Smriti Medal and ICMR Travel award. She is member
of various scientific bodies such as European Society of Medical
Oncology, Indian Association of Cancer Research and Association of
Clinical Chemistry & Lab Medicine Practitioners. She is also an
Executive Committee Member of ACCLMP Delhi Chapter since March 2021.
Her
key areas of research include nanotechnology, cancer biology and
medical education. She has technical expertise in most of the molecular
biology and research techniques such as Formation and characterization
of PLGA nanoparticles, Confocal and Fluorescent microscopy, Isolation of nucleic acids,
PCR-RFLP, RT-PCR and Real-time PCR, cell culture, Flow Cytometry, ELISA,
MTT assay, Western Blotting, etc. She has actively participated in
various conferences and workshops and presented her research work in
national and international conferences. She has attended workshops on
Mass Spectrometry and HPLC, Competency Based Medical Education as well
as Science
Communication Workshop by The Wellcome Trust/DBT India Alliance. She has also
completed the Training programme on ‘Quality Management Systems and
Internal Audit in Medical Laboratories as per ISO 15189:2012’
