- Graduate from Maulana
Azad Medical College, New Delhi and post graduate from VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, she joined as
faculty at UCMS & GTBH in 2005. She is currently working as
Professor (CAS) since 2016.
- She has 70 publications in various peer
reviewed national & international journals and has authored 26
chapters in multiple Radiology textbooks.
- Actively involved in research, she has
worked on multiple funded research projects from various agencies
like AERB, ICMR etc and has received
total grant of over 35 lakhs in these projects. She recently
completed a major AERB funded project as Principal Investigator
and is currently working on an ICMR funded project.
- She is a keen academician and has guided
over 30 MD thesis as supervisor/ co-supervisor and is also guiding
one PhD student. She is an active participant in Radiology
conferences. She has multiple invited talks and has presented
papers in various forums both at international & National
level. She has delivered the prestigious Mihir
Mitter Memorial Oration of Indian College of Radiology in
2013.
- Member of various professional and academic
associations: IRIA, ICRI, ISPR, NAMS, IMSA and
Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Society. She is a reviewer for British
Journal of Radiology and few national journals.
- Her areas of interest are musculoskeletal
radiology and women imaging where she has worked extensively.
