Dr. Preeti Diwaker, Professor
of Pathology joined University College of Medical Sciences as faculty
in 2012. Her primary interest lies in pathology education of
undergraduate and postgraduate students, diagnostic clinical services
and clinically oriented translational research. She has keen interest
in cytopathology, breast and gynecologic
pathology. Her current research efforts are focused on cytology and
immunocytochemistry of indeterminate lesions of thyroid and salivary
gland, use of new biomarkers in cervical cancer screening and
assessment of diagnostic, prognostic and predictive markers in cervical
and breast cancer. Currently she is I/C of
Cytopathology laboratory of Department of Pathology and is working
towards getting it NABL accredited.
