Dr. Sonal Sharma

Dr Sonal Sharma is currently working as Director Professor of Pathology at UCMS. She has been working in this Institute for last 16 years. Pathology is always been her favorite subject since graduation. She has keen interest in Histopathology and Cytopathology. She has a special interest in Dermatopathology and Nephropathology. She has numerous publications as a result of research in these fields. She has presented numerous papers in Pathology at both National and International conferences. She has published books and chapters in various books. She has undertaken numerous projects as Principal and Co-supervisor. She has supervised many students for MD and PhD thesis. Currently, she is incharge of Histopathology laboratory of our Institute. She is also actively involved in numerous administrative duties of the Institute, being Faculty incharge of Research cell and Library committee. Being Paraclinical co-coordinator she is actively involved in Undergraduate teaching and examination of Paraclinical subjects. Recently, she has also taken the charge of HOD, Pathology, Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Delhi.
