Dr. Pranita Sahay has completed her Post-graduation
and Senior residency from Dr. R P Centre for
Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS, New Delhi. She is
well trained in Cornea, Cataract and Refractive Surgery services. She
has additional degrees of FICO, FICO (Cornea) and FAICO (Refractive
Surgery) to her credit. She has received various awards including 3
gold medals during MBBS, Best Junior Resident Award during
Post-graduation, Best Paper presentation award (Keracon
2018, ISCKRS 2019) and V K Kalra Memorial
Trophy 2017. She has 79 publications in international peer reviewed
journals, 8 non-indexed publications, 11 book chapters and has a keen
interest in research and academics. She has also presented her research
work at various national and international conferences. She is
currently the Assistant editor for Delhi Journal of Ophthalmology.
In the clinical field, she
has an experience of performing over 100 corneal transplants including
lamellar corneal surgeries like DSAEK, DMEK and DALK. She is well
trained in cataract surgery for both adult and pediatric
cases. Also, she has an experience of performing various advanced
refractive surgery procedures including FS-LASIK, PRK, SMILE, and phakic IOL.
