 Dr. Ankur
Singh, post his
post-graduation, has
completed his Senior residency from Advanced Eye Centre, Post Graduate
Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh. During his
tenure of senior residency, he has worked in Vitreo–Retina
& Uveitis services of Advanced Eye Centre, PGIMER, Chandigarh.
He is
well trained in Medical and Surgical Retina, Uveitis, and Neuro-ophthalmology.
He has additional degrees of FAICO (Retina and Vitreous) to his credit.
He has also been part of AIOS National Post graduate training refresher
courses. He has received various awards including best free paper in
Retina at Annual DOS conference (2016), (2014), 3rd best
free paper in retina at DOS
2020 International Hybrid Conference and
others. He has been invited faculty/chair for various national as well
as international conferences. He has also presented his research work
at more than 10 international and 25 national and conferences. He has published
10 research papers national & international peer reviewed journals,
4 editorial, book chapter and has a keen
interest in research and academics. He is currently reviewer of
multiple indexed and peer reviewed national and international journals.
He has also worked as a regular faculty at All India Institute of
Medical Sciences AIIMS, RBL and has been instrumental in setting up Vitreo–Retina unit.
He has more
than 5-year clinical experience in the field of Surgical Vitreo-Retina and Uveitis has performed over 100 Vitreo–Retinal procedures including Macular hole
surgery, complex retinal detachment surgery, diabetic tractional retinal detachment and vitreous hemorrhage surgery, secondary IOL implantations;
diagnostic vitrectomies etc.
