Dr OP Rajoura MD, post
graduated in Community Medicine (1996) from Maulana
Azad Medical college, Delhi. He joined UCMS as faculty member in 2002.
He became Professor in 2011 and presently working as Director Professor
from 2018 in the Department of Community Medicine, UCMS, Delhi.
Dr Rajoura has guided fifteen MD students and
evaluated five MD thesis from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health
Sciences, Bangalore. He has been
involved in conducting intramural and extramural research and published
various research papers in national & international journals. His
areas of special interests are immunization, communicable diseases,
public health administration. Apart from participating & presenting
research papers he has
also chaired many scientific sessions in National
& International conferences.
He
has been guest faculty for UG
& PG courses at: - School of Environment Sciences, (DU) for MSc. (2006-2007),
NCDC for MPH (2006) and Raj Guru College of applied Sciences, Delhi,
(DU) for B.Sc. Biomedical sciences (2010-2012).
He had evaluated/monitored
following National Health programs as member of expert group:-
1)
Family Health
Advisory Campaign on awareness of S.T.D. and HIV/ AIDS sported by Delhi
State AIDS Control Society, (Dec.-1999).
2) Monitoring of National Polio Surveillance
Project: a joint project of WHO & Govt. of India in Delhi,
Ghaziabad & Gurgaon (2001 & 2002).
3) Leprosy Elimination & Monitoring (LEM):
a joint project of WHO & Govt. of India (NIHFW) in Gaya &Navada districts of Bihar (June 2002).
4) National Leprosy Eradication Program:
Resource Person for Training of Chief Medical & District Health
Officers of 12 Endemic States organized by NIHFW, Delhi (Jan. 9-11,
2003).
5) Evaluation of L.N. Chest Clinic, New Delhi,
(Dec.5-7, 2006).
6) State level consultant for ICDS Scheme
Monitoring Project funded by NIPCID (2010-14).

Member, ICMR task force advisory group
for “evaluation of acceptability & feasibility of validated
technology for doorstep delivery of health care-implementation research”.
Life member of professional associations: - IAPSM, IPHA, ISMOCD, BPNI &
IAAH.
