 I have been
associated with UCMS and GTB Hospital since I joined the place as a
Senior Resident in the department of Anaesthesiology in 2006. After
completing the tenure, I worked as a non-teaching specialist to later
join as an Assistant Professor. Since the time I joined, I have been
actively involved in all activities of the department.
I have taken classes for undergraduate and
post-graduate students, nursing staff and technical staff. I have been
actively involved in the conduct of basic and advanced life support
training which are organised by the department in Advanced Skill Lab. I
was also a part of the online training program for paramedical and
medical staff on Covid-19.
I have worked in all the clinical areas under the
department including administering anaesthesia in various operating
theatres, pre-anaesthetic clinics, ICUs and remote locations like
radiology department.
I have initiated research projects and also been a
supervisor of five PG students and co-supervisor of 12 students till
date. I have also worked in various administrative capacities as
allocated by the department from time to time. I am the MO I/C of the
Eye OT and also maintain the departmental medical records data.
